Author Visit

On Tuesday 9th October, author Anne Cassidy came to St. Helen's to speak to Years 8 to 10.

Her fascinating talk covered a number of her books, which often focus on crime and missing children. She spoke about Looking for JJ, a novel about the life of a child who killed another child, once released from prison, which has recently been produced for theatre by Unicorn Theatre. She also talked about another of her books, Missing Judy, about a child who disappears after an argument with her sister.

Anne's books were also available to buy in the library at lunch time, and Anne signed all the books that were sold.
